A Plane for the Party?

The political storm unleashed by the whistleblower website Wikileaks may have Governments and so-called “noble” institutions running for cover but the aviation industry has, until now, been spared. From it’s wide-ranging exposes of Governmental incompetence through to outing tax-evading gazillionaires in Switzerland, Wikileaks has caused the world’s powermongers to tremble in their boots. The truth has a strange way of making the powerful nervous.

Such truth has recently rattled the tin pots of the powerful in Australia’s capital.

Canberra Airport, a normally quiet and unsurprising facility, was recently host to the arrival of a very unusual 737 variant that had local plane watchers scratching their heads. Even industry insiders were perplexed. No one had any concrete knowledge of this strange aircraft.

Some thought that it was the latest Low Cost Carrier adding additional cargo space on a roof rack (for which they would undoubtedly charge handsomely). Others thought it must be some kind of military contraption. Not even the experts had any concrete facts and the authorities were strangely reticent in providing details.

Enter AvGlob, the Aviation Global News website that simply will not accept the obvious truth for an answer: We started digging and, despite encountering a stony wall of silence, we were determined to find the Truth. After countless inquiries we obtained, from a source who wishes to remain anonymous, the following technical schematic:

737-Part-E Schematic

Industry commentator Justin Seid said, on seeing this document,”I knew this thing was flying around, but I never knew what was inside. It looks like the ultimate party machine!”

Further inquiries as to the owner of this flying “House of Sin” have been unproductive and the lack of markings on the aircraft leave us to speculate on it’s purpose; could it be a Government machine, bringing new meaning to the phrase “political party?” Or is it, perhaps, privately owned and operated to provide the misunderstood First Class a transportation option otherwise lacking in this country?

As with all mysteries, the truth will emerge… sometimes it just takes a little time. If you have any information about this aircraft, its owners or its purpose, please leave a comment. And don’t give us any guff about it being a military aircraft… we’re way to savvy for that!
